After six months of work, we recently put the finishing touches on a passion project, the restoration of a 1960 Land Rover Series 2. It was important to us to keep the heritage of the 60s, but with a Will & Co spin.
We went to great lengths to make sure every part was considered: the interior features Napa leather, a soft, full-grained leather that’s been hand-stitched; the floor is made from the highest-grade Burmese teak known for its beautiful natural properties, commonly found on boats; and the door packers are made from coffee sacks, which are used to transport green beans from Antigua, Guatemala – the coffee used in our signature Eight-o-Eight blend. The original glass lenses, lights and dash remain. After twenty colour samples, we finally matched the iconic Will & Co navy. Ain’t she a beauty?
